Gather Paint Stitch Class
Come join the Gather Paint Stitch class for fun creative lessons that will help you find your creative flow. We will be playing with various ideas and supplies that are playful, colorful, and heartfelt. We will be combining paint and stitch along with some other fun things as we create a hand made journal. It’s all about slowing down and being in the moment and being willing to play and see where things go! It’s all about creating with heart. There are also 8 guest artist lessons included to help fill your journal pages.
Found Florals – Mixed Media Journal Class
In this class you will be creating a colorful, fun, playful found floral collage from a mix of paper, paint, fabric, stitching, and more. This class encourages you to play and enjoy the process of combining various items that you may not think about combining. It’s a great way to use your stash and scraps that you may have left over from other projects. Hand stitching or slow stitching will be part of the process with an option to use free motion machine stitching. The found floral collage will become the focal point of a unique art journal that you will learn how to bind and that you can use for art journaling, sketching, writing, and more.

About Cindy Gilstrap
Cindy Gilstrap, with Cici & Company Studio, is a mixed media artist with a love for art journals, bright colors, quirky design, and anything vintage. She believes creative play is such a gift to give yourself which is why she is passionate about inspiring others to just play and enjoy the creative process. She loves combining her bright colors, especially pink and orange, with vintage items to give them new life. You will find combinations of vintage elements, paper, fabric, stitching, and paint in Cindy’s work. She loves spreading joy with her art and her quirky style often extends to her outfits and decorating style.
Cindy lives in Texas with her hubby and 3 dogs, and feels blessed to have her grown kids and extended family close by. She teaches art journal and mixed media classes online and in person and loves collaborating with other artists. You can find Cindy at:
