About Kim Dellow
Being curious and creative is key to Kim’s process. She likes to explore and experiment and follow what she calls the ‘what if’ moments: ‘What if you try this colour with that one?’, ‘What if you use this material with that one?’ etc. Allowing yourself the time to play, to open up your expressive self. Being creative and allowing ourselves that expression is an important aspect to the human experience that is so often undervalued.
She believes that we each have the ability inside us but are often held back by preconceived notions of what art should be. So in her teaching, Kim tries to help people look beyond that and help them to explore their own ways to express through marks, colour and play. She loves colour, wildlife, abstracts and, well, a whole manner of different things! But most of all being creative and curious and helping others to find that too.
