My mixed media art favorites include using a gelli plate and acrylic paint to make painted papers. I use these in all of my mixed media collages; typically you will find them in the backgrounds. Next, those handmade painted papers will be used to assemble a children’s board book. The end result is a beautiful, personal art book that can be shared as a gift or just kept for yourself.

Stick It! Mini Course
This mini class will teach you all about adhesives for your mixed media art. In particular, you will learn a PVA glue recipe that you can use which will prevent wrinkling and bubbles in your paper. It’s not always easy to know what adhesive to use with a particular paper; so this course will give you those answers.
