“A Year of Wild Nature” is a year-long immersive mixed media art course that invites you to explore the beauty, mystery and vitality of the natural world, as well as your own inner wild nature. Using paint, texture, colour and expressive mark-making, you’ll journey through forests, flowers, animals, landscapes, natural rhythms and the untamed parts of yourself that long for greater freedom, authenticity and creative expression. 🌿

Hosted by renowned artist and author Tamara Laporte from Willowing Arts, this course offers a deep dive into the emotional, symbolic and expressive power of nature in art. Each month, you’ll receive two inspiring mixed media art lessons, accompanied by shorter bonus sessions during the filler weeks.

Every lesson is thoughtfully inspired by nature and wildness, explored both literally and metaphorically. You may paint the natural world around you, work with organic textures and processes, explore the symbolism and spirit of nature, or connect with instinct, intuition and freer self-expression. Together, these lessons create a rich, varied and soul-nourishing creative experience.

By the end of the year, you’ll have created a beautiful and diverse body of artwork while deepening your connection to nature, your creativity and the wild, expressive voice within you.
