The Taster Event for “A Year of Wild Nature” will begin on 1st October 2026
and will run in a dedicated Facebook Group as well as on www.willowing.org

“A Year of Wild Nature” is structured around 4 key themes:

• Painting Wild Nature Literally – Explore the beauty and vitality of the natural world through animals, plants, landscapes, weather and seasonal imagery. Create expressive artwork inspired by the rich diversity of life around us.
• Exploring the Wild Within – Connect with instinct, intuition, freedom and authentic self-expression. These lessons invite you to loosen up, experiment, follow creative impulses and let go of perfectionism.
• Nature as Texture, Process and Material – Explore organic mark-making, earthy palettes, flowing inks, layered surfaces and mixed media textures inspired by bark, stone, moss, water, leaves and weathered forms.
• The Symbolism and Spirit of Nature – Discover the poetic and symbolic meanings held within nature. Use birds, roots, rivers, forests, seeds and seasons to explore freedom, belonging, transformation, resilience and connection.
