Watercolour Wildlife
Unleash your wild creative self! On this course, we’ll be exploring the beauty of watercolours & mixed media while creating stunning paintings of animals. You’ll learn how to work playfully and loosely with watercolour paints and combine them with other mediums like acrylic inks, etching tools, crayons, and markers. About Tamara Laporte
Tamara Laporte (aka willowing) is a beloved mixed media artist, art teacher, and author known for her whimsical and soulful art. Her work blends vibrant folk-inspired imagery with themes of healing, hope, and self-discovery. Symbolism, storytelling, and layered mixed media techniques are at the heart of her unique style.
Since 2008, Tam has been running Willowing Arts, a creative sanctuary where she’s helped thousands of people around the world reconnect with their inner artist. Her classes focus not only on art techniques, but also on personal growth and emotional expression through creativity.
Tam’s work has been featured in various books, art magazines, podcasts, and summits. She’s passionate about creating inclusive, supportive spaces where everyone – regardless of experience or ability – can make meaningful art.
She lives in the South of England with her wonderful husband Andy, their two magical sons Dylan and Elliot, four hilarious dogs, and a gaggle of chickens.
