“A Year of Magic” is structured around 4 key themes:

Painting Magic and Fairy Tales/ Myths/ Folklore more literally (Think characters and scenes from fairy tales/ folklore/ myths, enchanted forests, glowing lanterns, spell books, mystical beings, mythical creatures, castles, and magical realms).

Capturing Everyday Enchantment & Magic (This theme explores the wonder found in a dewdrop on a leaf, the texture of bark, the glint of a teacup in sunlight, or the stillness of a foggy morning. We’ll paint ordinary things made extraordinary through presence and poetic attention.)

Exploring the Magic of Supplies & Technique (Discover the enchantment within the creative process itself; the bloom of watercolour, the gleam of metallics or gold leaf, the flow of ink, and the layered textures that feel like alchemy.)

Portraying the Feeling of Magic (Think wonder, love, joy, awe, curiosity, mystery, courage, or the transformation found in stories and within ourselves.)
