Well, I said I’d do a series of owls and lo! I painted another owl, however, he wasย not happy about it. Look at his grumpy face! ๐ย ย ->
He was all like:ย โExcuse me, here I was all nicely non-existing and then you, annoying painter, decided to try and paint me! I was have a relaxi non-existent time and felt NOT in the mood for being RUDELY conjured into life, being painted in ridiculous confetti colours, what were you thinking โฆโย Needless to say; I wrestled with this owl but in the end, we had a good old chat and became friends!ย ๐๐

Come listen to me warble/ twitterย about how art imitates life and how life imitates art and that sometimes characters you create are telling you hilarious or challenging things and sometimes your struggles on the canvas reflect back the struggles in your life. And sometimes you discover that the grumpy character you created is actually YOU in real life, just disguised, as a colourful, grumpy, confetti owl! As they say: humans are just God in Drag.
