Three Wise Things

This lesson was first published as part of Life Book 2023 and is now available as a stand alone class! Come join me, Tam to create a front facing portrait of a female character!

In this lesson, we are going to create a painting of a character who represents either you or your higher self, surrounded by 2 characters (a swallow and an owl) who represent 3 Wise Things you’ll take with you from last year to this coming year. This painting will guide us with wisdom throughout year.

Soooo, my next class will be learning how to paint Soooo, my next class will be learning how to paint "expressive soul portraits" (omg so excited about this!) and currently editing the videos and LOVED this shot of one of the portraits mid-way. What I love about this way of working is that you can get all your raw emotions out and just make crazy messes to help facilitate all of the stuff that is going on for you and then you come out of the process refreshed and renewed and sometimes (not always) with an emotive, beautiful outcome, too! 😊 Check out all the layers and textures in this. Think at this point, it's about 30% into the painting process. It goes through a lot more transformation before it's finished.
