Huge Important Announcement!

Huge Important Announcement!

Dearest Creative Community,

I’m coming to you today with a huge message that’s both filled with gratitude and a touch of bittersweetness.

It’s hard to finally share this with you, it isn’t without sadness and I’ve shed many a tear, but I have to let you know that after 13 years of running my amazing course; Life Book, it is time for new creative adventures. 😢

Life Book has meant the world to me (it still does), and I know it has touched the lives of so many of you. Watching your artistic journeys unfold, seeing how you’ve used art to heal, to express, and to grow, has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I’ve loved also seeing our creative community grow and evolve over the years, you’ve all been so amazing at supporting and loving each other. We’ve created something truly special together, something that has brought light and love into the world. ♥️♥️♥️

But as with all journeys, there comes a time when we feel the call to take a new path. Over the past year, I’ve felt this call growing stronger within me. I’ve felt the need to explore new horizons, to dive into new creative waters, and to discover fresh ways to inspire and support my amazing creative community; all of you out there! 🥰

This is why I’ve made the difficult decision to bring Life Book to a close. 😔

I’ve recorded a video sharing my thoughts/ feelings about this big decision, you can watch it here:

To be clear: Life Book 2024 will continue as usual and all previous Life Book content stays available for downloading, there just will not be a Life Book 2025. 😔 I can imagine that might make some of you sad, and I understand that. Big hugs to you. This is not the end, just a transformation!

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for having been part of this incredible journey. I’m so grateful to each of you who’s ever joined Life Book, and I’m excited to continue our creative journey together in new and beautiful ways. 🥰  I have exciting new creative projects planned which you’ll hear about very soon! ✨🙌✨

Watch the video with the big announcement here (also includes a little montage of all of my silly dances since the first Life Book and a trip down memory lane to see all the artists who’ve ever taught on Life Book!).

My deepest gratitude to everyone who has ever joined Life Book, all the artists who’ve ever contributed to Life Book and my amazing Willowing Arts team too! Couldn’t have done it without any of you! ♥️♥️♥️

I’m so lucky to be so deeply connected to such an inspiring, beautiful creative community, I count my lucky stars every day! Thank you! ❤️🙏🏻❤️

If you have any questions, worries or concerns about this big changes, pls don’t hesitate to contact us on hello@willowing.org or simply reply to this email.

Much love,
Tam 💕

This song has been on repeat for the last 3 weeks or so. It`s so achingly beautiful and heart breaking, had to record my own version of it! I love harmonising with myself. Playing the piano and using a mic however, meant that it overwhelmed the voice a bit, will do that differently next time. ♥️♥️♥️ Best listened to on headphones.
The song is by `Novo Amor`. Here are the lyrics:
"Repeat Until Death"
Low, a part of me now
A palm to my mouth
I said it, almost
Snow, brother, I`ll bet it all gold
Shudder with blood in my nose
I had it almost
Don`t go, you`re half of me now
But I`m hardly stood proud
I said it almost
Oh, I`ve been low
But dammit, I bet it don`t show
It was heaven a moment ago
Oh, I had it almost
We had it almost
Oh, I can`t seem to let myself leave you
But I can`t breathe anymore
Oh, I can`t seem to not need to need you
I can`t breathe anymore
♥️

I had discarded this journal spread a while ago as “not good enough” and now I’m like: “heh? I really love this!” So funny how your own view of your own art can change so much after a while. Not finished yet but I like it as it is. 😊
