A Heart Full of Happy

This lesson was first published as part of Life Book 2018 and is now available as a stand alone class!

We are going to create an angled portrait and painting the page mostly in inks in my ‘flower girl portrait’ style. I love working with inks as they have a luminous vibrancy to them that is hard to achieve with other supplies! :)

We are also going to look at ‘gratitude’ and how a gratitude exercise can be helpful in our lives. The final painting will celebrate and express gratitude for things, people, experiences you are grateful for in your life! :)

This lesson is supported by a PDF. Approximately 2 hours of video content.

Soooo, my next class will be learning how to paint Soooo, my next class will be learning how to paint "expressive soul portraits" (omg so excited about this!) and currently editing the videos and LOVED this shot of one of the portraits mid-way. What I love about this way of working is that you can get all your raw emotions out and just make crazy messes to help facilitate all of the stuff that is going on for you and then you come out of the process refreshed and renewed and sometimes (not always) with an emotive, beautiful outcome, too! 😊 Check out all the layers and textures in this. Think at this point, it's about 30% into the painting process. It goes through a lot more transformation before it's finished.
