In this lesson, we will be creating a beautiful Rosy Robin! Robins are fascinating creatures with their distinctive red breast, chirpy personalities, and beautiful melodies. The robin is truly a wonder, a tiny creature that brings so much joy and light to those lucky enough to encounter it.
In this lesson, we will explore how to capture the beauty and essence of this charming bird on paper. We will be using loose and fluid brushstrokes to create a dynamic and expressive painting that showcases the bird’s unique character and personality. We’ll experiment with different techniques, including wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, and layering, to create depth, texture, and interest in our paintings. We’ll also incorporate some abstracted elements to allow for playfulness and spontaneity!
Throughout the lesson, we’ll also explore the importance of composition and how to incorporate natural elements like branches and leaves to enhance our paintings’ overall look and feel. You get life long access to this lesson and you can download the videos and PDFS too!
