This lesson was first published as part of Life Book 2023 and is now available as a stand alone class! Come join me, Tam to create a soulful painting in muted tones!

In this lesson, we are going to create a soulful painting in muted tones and we’ll be using a paint over collage technique! For this lesson we’ll be looking at some of our ‘stories’ or ‘experiences’ in life that have left marks of some sorts, we’ll explore them and weave our feelings/ learnings about these stories into a meaningful painting.

Soooo, my next class will be learning how to paint Soooo, my next class will be learning how to paint "expressive soul portraits" (omg so excited about this!) and currently editing the videos and LOVED this shot of one of the portraits mid-way. What I love about this way of working is that you can get all your raw emotions out and just make crazy messes to help facilitate all of the stuff that is going on for you and then you come out of the process refreshed and renewed and sometimes (not always) with an emotive, beautiful outcome, too! 😊 Check out all the layers and textures in this. Think at this point, it's about 30% into the painting process. It goes through a lot more transformation before it's finished.
