These flower girls keep turning up in my journal, I’m thinking of making them into a class, what do you think? There will be a heavy focus on working with Tombows and inks. :)
Been working on this new abstract spread! Not sure if it’s finished yet but love where it’s now and the colour scheme = ♥️. I struggle with abstract art but love looking at it! Do you find abstracts harder or easier to make compared to paintings with clear subjects?
A therapist once told me that she didn’t think I ‘would’ve made it’ had I not had art in my life. Not sure how helpful it was of her to say that and not sure if that was a correct assessment, but it tells you 2 things: 1. She was struck by the trauma I have experienced and 2. She was aware how powerful making art can be. It is also why I love the attached cartoon so much! 😊
