“Life Book, a celebration and honouring of YOU” is a year-long mixed media art class organised by Tamara Laporte from Willowing Arts. Tam is joined by incredible art teachers & wellness experts who are all gearing up to share their art & wellbeing techniques, tips and tricks with YOU! Themed around self-development and healing, you’ll be creating several loose mixed media art journal pages per month which by the end of the year you will bind into a glorious journal (a Life Book)! You will have a wonderful keepsake that you can treasure for the rest of your life!

I’ve been wanting to make a series of owls ever since. Here is the 3rd in a series! 😊 I’ll be making a few more! 😍😍😍 They are some of my most favourite animals.

Soooo, my next class will be learning how to paint Soooo, my next class will be learning how to paint "expressive soul portraits" (omg so excited about this!) and currently editing the videos and LOVED this shot of one of the portraits mid-way. What I love about this way of working is that you can get all your raw emotions out and just make crazy messes to help facilitate all of the stuff that is going on for you and then you come out of the process refreshed and renewed and sometimes (not always) with an emotive, beautiful outcome, too! 😊 Check out all the layers and textures in this. Think at this point, it's about 30% into the painting process. It goes through a lot more transformation before it's finished.
