Applications Closed – Winners listed below.

Hey lovely friends! Last month, we ran many giveaways as part of the Life Book 2021 Taster Sessions, we ended up giving away 40 spots on Life Book 2021! Wowsa! :) The winners of these giveaways were randomly chosen, not based on financial situations, so now it is time to open up 10 Life book 2021 Scholarships intended for people who might be struggling financially, are on disability income or have other financial challenges that mean they cannot afford Life Book 2021.

So, we are making 10 scholarships available that you can apply for now for yourself or someone else by emailing us on hello@willowing.org answering the following questions:

    1. Who are you applying for? (You can apply for yourself or on behalf of a friend or family member).
    2. Have you (or the person you are nominating) ever done Life Book before?
    3. Why do you think you (or the person you are nominating) are the right candidate to receive a Life Book 2021 scholarship?
    4. How will you (or the recipient of the scholarship) benefit from Life Book 2021?

This year for Life Book 2020, we also donated a group license to a school in a disadvantaged area, supporting the art students of that school. It’s been a true joy and honour to support this school and their amazing art students. If there are any creative/ art people doing amazing work with charities, shelters, support groups for those who are struggling with depression/ addiction/ homelessness/ abuse or any other organisations that don’t have lots of funding who think their members might feel supported by weekly art lessons, please also apply as we love to maximise the positive impact of Life Book on those who need it the most.

Applications now closed.

A therapist once told me that she didn’t think I ‘would’ve made it’ had I not had art in my life. Not sure how helpful it was of her to say that and not sure if that was a correct assessment, but it tells you 2 things: 1. She was struck by the trauma I have experienced and 2. She was aware how powerful making art can be. It is also why I love the attached cartoon so much! 😊
